We brought her today to the vet and she has a fungus infection. She will be okay and only needs to use some cream for a couple of weeks :) We are happy it was not anything grave!!

Hi Nana28, I the same question myself when I adopted my cat some months ago. I talked with the vet and they replied that the cats limit themselves. Her recommendation was to keep the bowl always full and give some canned cat food as well. :)
