She just had the two, although the dark kitten died Monday night. We're not sure what happened 128542 Our male cat (Alex, fixed) has been very maternal toward the white kitten. He is always cleaning him and laying with him. He hasn't been at all aggressive towards him. But this morning he kept...

We don't have kittens yet, but she's started nesting, has been laying down a lot and is really affectionate and has chilled out towards the dog (rubbing her head on him as she walks by). I think we're close!

I don't have any on hand, but I'll have my fiance pick some up.  He's the manager at a pet/feed store, so I'm sure they have lots of options.  I'll pass those recommendations on to him.  Thanks so much!!

Thank you StefanZ! It's funny you mention that, when I got home she seemed WAY smaller. To the point I searched around the house to make sure she hadn't delivered! As promised, here are a couple pictures. She's fairly restless right now, so it was hard to get any good ones. I'm thinking it's...

Oh and to answer the other questions, both cats were kept away from the dog when we first got them to allow them to get used to the smells and sounds of our household. After a few days, they were sticking their paws out from under the door, so we allowed them to come out and explore while...

Oh dear, I didn't realize that about spray bottles. I have used one for years based on my vet's recommendation. I'll definitely stop, as I don't want to stress her out. The few times I used it, she came up to me immediately after and rubbed her head on me and cuddled, so hopefully no harm has...

    Aggressive pregnant adopted cat

Hello Everyone! About 5 weeks ago, we took in 2 cats for an acquaintance of a friend who was in the middle of moving and weren't able to care for them.  Both cats are super friendly and cuddly.  It was an unexpected thing, we didn't really have the money to, but the guy was going to drop the...
