    Your story struck a chord, we had been feeding a cat for a few months before tnr'ing her in August. She spent 3 weeks down behind the washing machine! she now sleeps on the outside furniture, smoches on the deck,  walks around the house, and comes when we call her but we still cannot touch...

    Its been a while since I posted, and progress has been slow... but we do have progress none the less!  Minnie and Sylvester are waiting at the door every morning, spend the day snoozing and playing on the deck (its coming into summer here in NZ) and uness its raining they sleep on the outside...

    Ok, so Minnie and Sylvester are treating the house as their own, coming and going when the door is open but not settling inside except when they eat, lazing on the deck and there most of the time,  How do I go to the next stage? I would love them to jump on the couch or to be able to stroke...

    Getting more confident by the day!  Spending most of the time on the deck in the sun or gazing in through the ranch sliders now and then having a walk into the house to check out the place and pretty relaxed as long as we dont move suddenly or approach them!  Definately mellowing!

      Spot the brave Minnie and Sylvester... they are becoming very curious! I think you are right Dahlia about her wanting to check her frend... they are together all the time, our resident cat just watches and talks to them sometimes they are all very harmonious!
