    Question for raw feeders

My cats are fat! (perhaps they have poor body images) The first 4 years they ate dry food. Over the past 1.5yr, I feed them dry/wet. It took me about 4 month to move them over to 100% wet. They are very finicky about their wet food. Over the past week, I've been switching them from 100% to...

    Changed to wet Food-No Poops!

As a final note, Cleo made her poop last night! I guess reducing the carbs (fiber) out of their diet too quickly created some problems. I know Wellness is very low carb. I'm shocked that so many good things are said about Wellness and they still have garlic in their food! They also have...

    Changed to wet Food-No Poops!

Sammy my boy just made a handsome poop! I'm so proud of him! I'm still waiting on his sister Cleo but I have faith. I've heard about concerns of garlic in Wellness. What wet foods do you have high regards for? Thanks.

    Changed to wet Food-No Poops!

Absolutely. Like I said, I am adding some dry food back in and take it much slower. Thank you for your input.

Hissy, I agree with you 100%. Nevertheless, my purpose switching them over to wet food was for heath reasons and not to initially lose weight. I had planned to provide both cats with an appropriate amount of food to maintain their weight. I just wanted to get them off a 85% dry 15% wet diet...

    Changed to wet Food-No Poops!

My vet is a proponent of kibble diets for most healthy cats. I do not agree. I certainly didn't think that transistioning my cats from a dry/wet diet to 100% wet would be a major change. I throughly believe it is much healthier for my cats. My 2 cats for years have shared one large litter...

    Changed to wet Food-No Poops!

I agree that maybe I should have transitioned a bit slower. Since the one cat vomited the dry food, I'm worried about "backtracking" and adding in a little dry now. I don't want to upset their digestive system anymore. Thanks for the advice.

    Changed to wet Food-No Poops!

Over the past week, I've switched my 2 adult cats from a mostly dry food (Natural Choice) to 100% wet food (Wellness) diet. Both cats are a tad overweight (14 & 15lbs.). On their dry food diet, they both ate less then the recommended amounts. They seem to like the wet food but don't eat that...
