yes cats "can" die from it, my kitten did anyhow, but your cat may have a stronger immune system and be able to fight it, however i would reccomend vet visit, maybe they'll prescribe antibiotics...and watch out for appetite loss...bad sign...

hi there, less than 2 weeks i was forced to put my kitten to sleep after it agonized for days with oxygen and I.V. He had ulcers in his mouth and a completely stuffed up nose, therefore obviously would not and could not eat. He went into a coma and we thought it was time to stop his suffering...
