An update: My kitty was just fine missing a fluid session. She ate and drank as she normally does, was very noisy (as usual) and kept to all her routines. Now I have an extra bag in the house and always will. Thanks for your responses. :)
Well, so far so good. She ate what I gave her earlier, drank water from her circulating fountain. And I just peeped her eating on her own - not only from her bowl, but my other kitty's too! If we can just keep it up through tomorrow, she'll have fluids by 11 AM Monday. Lesson learned? Always...
Hi, gooned. Thanks for responding. I have the lab tech come to my home to administer. I tried it myself when the vet first put her on them and it was a nightmare for both of us. He's usually very responsible. I will monitor her food/water intake. She's pretty good about drinking water and her...
Hi all. My kitty has sub-fluids every other day to combat CKD. Today her lab tech forgot to bring a new bag and the clinic is closed for the weekend, so she's going to miss a session. Her last was Thursday - her next will be Monday morning. Will this have any adverse affect?
No. She was feral all her life until a year ago. She freaks out. That's why I'm hesitant about taking her in. I don't want to put her through that unless it's absolutely necessary.

My Little One has been overgrooming a spot on her face. It's now bald, about the size of a penny. I believe it started with stress when I was away on vacation, then turned into a kind of OCD thing.
I'd really like to be able to clear it up without a vet visit. Because she was feral, they'll...
Taryn, it's all been said but I'm so sorry. I know the heartbreak you're feeling. It will get better and when it's time to open your heart to the next kitty - you'll know. Till then, try to heal and take comfort in the knowledge that you gave her a great life and a lot of love, right up to the...
Update: It's been 6 months since Little One's coyote attack and except for the still slightly-bent tail, you'd never know anything had happened to her. She's adjusted to indoor life beautifully - and though she and Molly are not cuddle buddies yet - they live together very well. I've noticed...
