    cat allergies! *sneeze*

not anaphylaxis by any means! Cheeto has to get up really close to me (he does this often) and I will get red eyes, teary, sniffly, congested, and typical hayfever type symptoms. It was my primary care physician who poo-poo'd me for keeping my cat. It's not like I'm allergic to a perfume I own...

    Headbutting

My cat headbutts too but not in a way that leaves bruises! I would try the blowing technique and see if it works. This thread made me laugh at the quirkiness of our cats!

    cat allergies! *sneeze*

I'm allergic to my cat. I love him too much to give him up (as my doctors coldly advised me to do) and I just want to live with it. He isn't too keen on baths but I do use the Furminator when I can. I also use these clothes that bathe him without using water. Am I crazy for keeping him?

    inappropriate biting behavior

I will have to try the nose blowing technique! I doubt he would like that very much. I also have another cat (female) who is gentle and loving. However, Cheeto doesn't get along with her and is always picking fights with her. I could make a whole thread on that!

    inappropriate biting behavior

My little guy Cheeto (or orangey as I affectionately call him) is a special lil cat. He's a DMH, neutered, and about a year old. He is very needy and loves being around me ALL the time, which is fine because I love having a furry companion. The problem is that he can be too needy and recently...

    anal glands

My husband took him to the vet because I was sick. Hubby didn't know much about the situation and didn't explain it was a CHRONIC problem and the tech must have thought that it was a one time deal. I am bringing him to another vet (based on this thread, thanks) because it doesn't appear to be...

    anal glands

So I take it it's not a normal thing to have this smell ruin clothing and blankets? Otherwise, I think I'd hear a lot more of it. this is him: eww

the vet didn't actually see him - the tech said since the cat looked normal that it wouldn't be worth our money to have him seen. No expression of glands and no actual exam.

    anal glands

Hi there! I wondering about my 1 year old male neutered cat. He has this stench sometimes and it is disgusting! It happens probably once every 2 weeks. It gets on my sheets and on my blankets, clothing etc. He licks the area and doesn't scoot. There doesn't appear to be any inflammation and...

    Cute things your cat does

When my cat wants my attention, he will put his paw up on my arm and meow. I'll be sitting at the computer and I will feel this human-like tap on me and there he is! What cute things do your cats do?
