I have three others. This is Oops, my little girl who is the queen of the house. .    And this is Rocky on the left, who is Oops' littermate, and Stash - their adopted brother. All three are about a year and a half old so I think they'll adapt quickly to a new friend.

Wow, thank you all for the great information! I always thought there were more calories in wet food than dry. Learn something new every day. I will talk to my husband about all this and we'll definitely tweak the diet to reflect a better mix. Thanks again!

For the tree - he's in a new place so he's probably finding all kinds of new climbing/hiding/exploring places. Cats change their favorite things all the time. He'll probably go back to it eventually. Agree with the others about the pouncing. 

My vet gives me a hard time every time the kids go in. They're all very healthy and well cared for but they're all about a 6 or 7 on the body score scale.  Right now I feed Purina Indoor dry - yeah, not the best food I know but my budget is kind of full with law school, 2 horses and 3 kitties...
