    Playing fetch

One of my cats love to play fetch. I didn't trained him for it. One day i was playing with him, and he brought the ball back on his own. I started to reward him for it, so he will keep doing it. He is now almost 4 yrs old, and still playing fetch like a kitten :D

    At wit's end

I hope all is ok with your cat.  She had kinda the same issue with the cat urinating outside the box, and around the house. After watching a cat behaviorist tv show, she got an idea that worked for her cat.  Apparently a stray cat was marking the yard of the house at his territory. My friend...

    Blasted cat

My cat started to do that. Looking for food all the time, even after he ate. No matter how much he ate, he was skinny. I took him to the vet and found out he had hyperthyroidism. He is on meds now, and doing fine.  With your cat it may not be the case tho. Don't let him over eat, an overweight...

Resident cats fighting with each other with introduction of new kittens

Like you said the presence of the new kittens altered their ways. It happened to me long time ago. For safety i kept them separated when i wasn't home, and while i slept. Had to reintroduce them, and after that they were buddies again. Also, a vet check up won't hurt. Sometimes when cats get...

need to introduce two resident kittiea to my new rescue HELP PLEASE

I forgot to mention, if your new cat has one of those collars with a bell, remove the bell.  My cat used to follow the new one everywhere, never letting her catch a break. After i removed the bell from her collar he doesn't follow her as much. His has a bell, so she can be aware of where he is at.

New cat having a hard time adapting new home, owner and other cats

Introductions of my new cat to the others is slow but steady. Of course the new cat, being the lady she is she hisses and sometimes growls at my youngest cat, my boy being a gentleman, he just ignores it, and purrs at her. I been able to let them both be around the house, while i keep my other...

New cat having a hard time adapting new home, owner and other cats

Last month i adopted a 3 yr old female from a friend. She grew up with no other cat around, and spent lots of time alone at my friend's place.   She has her own room, with food, water, litter and toys. I spent time with her talking, playing, allowing her to take things easy. To make her come...
