2yr old male Savanna won't stop harassing 5 yr old male Bengal, please help!

My biggest worry is how to get him to stop long-term so that I don't have to worry about the bengal getting stressed out when we're out of town and a sitter is watching them. I've tried the loud NO, but the savannah is completely unfazed by our angry words. Separating them works, but only short...

2yr old male Savanna won't stop harassing 5 yr old male Bengal, please help!

My 2yr old savanna, Icarus, has a ton of energy and we make sure to play with him every day. The savanna plays and sleeps with my 5yr old bengal. Most of the time the get along just fine, except about once a day they will start playing then the savanna takes it too far and the bengal gets very...

Younger Savannah is bullying older Bengal

My 1 year old Savannah plays too hard with my 5 year old Bengal. The savannah is much larger and his 'play' is too rough for the bengal. Generally the get along very well; they sleep together and groom each other. My bengal will even play with the savannah for a little while, he'll fight back...

4 yr Old Bengal pee/sprays everywhere, nothing has worked to stop him. He's neutered.

Your advice to give him his freedom helped! As far as I can tell he hasn't inappropriately peed since we gave him back his freedom! Except that doesn't really answer why he started in the first place :(  So far so good though.

4 yr Old Bengal pee/sprays everywhere, nothing has worked to stop him. He's neutered.

@Lilin   Well, I think the first thing is to stop the time-outs. Cats don't understanding punishment. Cats usually spray (if you've eliminated health issues as a possibility) because of some kind of territorial insecurity, and locking him in a room will make this even worse. He probably feels...

4 yr Old Bengal pee/sprays everywhere, nothing has worked to stop him. He's neutered.

My 4 year old bengal has suddenly started peeing (in a way that sprays out like he's marking his territory) everywhere. He's neutered. I'm so distraught please please help. He has inappropriately sprayed before, but cleaning it up and putting him in time out in the bathroom has always made him...

Boarding bengal and savannah in cage free boarding?

I'm very proud of my kitties, so well behaved! Yes, that is very very true RE: getting them ready for boarding. That makes me wonder if, I should actually do some fostering of/with Felis silvestris catus when I get my next hybrid.  What do you think? How where the adult Felis silvestris catus...

Boarding bengal and savannah in cage free boarding?

You're definitely right all cats are different and I think they fact that both of my kitties grew up with strange kitties coming around the house when they were kittens prepared them better for boarding. That is GREAT, IMHO. How did they react to the older calmer cats? I am mainly interested in...

Boarding bengal and savannah in cage free boarding?

UPDATE I just got my kitties back from boarding yesterday morning and here's how it went! When we first brought them there last week we put both of them in the group room with all of the young energetic cats. There were 9 other cats in there and my cats were overwhelmed. The bengal stayed up...

Boarding bengal and savannah in cage free boarding?

@ Cat Person When we first moved in with the roommates we have now, Fur Fur (bengal) was very good with the new domestic cats. He was an at "adolescent stage" (around 10 months) or "adult stage"? He was 2 yrs. by that time.  I will get a feel for everything in general. I will likely go with...

Boarding bengal and savannah in cage free boarding?

@Ritz They have had a bengal in for grooming, but they haven't had a savannah or bengal boarded :(  The bengal is not within the F generations, but the savannah is an F-3. @Sivyaleah  I'm inclined to put them in a private room too, but I wanted to take some time to hang out at the boarding...

Boarding bengal and savannah in cage free boarding?

Found a cage free boarding place for cats only. They have group rooms (huge rooms with sky lights and cat trees galore) and private rooms (which are about the size of a large bathroom or small office, with cat trees and play things)  I'm strongly considering boarding my bengal (4yrs) and...
