How did your cat gets it's name?

There are so many different names for on this site. Nytro was named even before we got him. Our last two cats, Scamp and Boots, lived to be over 19 years old each. When Boots (the last one) passed a year ago we said we were never getting another cat, it hurt too much to lose them. My...

    Trying to Climb drapes

I do find that Nytro only does this when he is "hyper" running around - now I see that he is exercising. I am considering taking the sheers down because they are old and getting beaten up by him. Putting up blinds isn't an option, the expense is out of our budget and he loves to stick his head...

    Fight with a Plastic Bag

You have all told of your kitties being scared - my Nytro does it on purpose. He takes his toys, drops them into the opening of the plastic bag, pokes his head through the strap and takes his toys for a ride around the house. Of course we are right behind trying to catch him and he thinks this...

    Trying to Climb drapes

My 7 month old Main Coon Cross thinks he is spiderman or a monkey - he is climbing my sheers and drapes in the living room. He is already 9 lbs and wreaking havoc with them. I have the water spray bottle handy and he knows what that means. As soon as I pick it up he is down and running from...

    Trying to bury food?

I just found you folks on Friday night and I have learned so much. Nytro does this too, including taking the food out of the bowl and eating it from the floor. I thought it was odd but now I realize he is probably "normal". Laurey

    Hello, I'm new here!

I only discovered this site 2 days ago and I am amazed at the number of countries represented. Your furbabies are adorable. The eyes on Rummel give an idea of wonder, don't they? And Esja is just the sweetest bundle. Thanks for sharing. Laurey

    Arthur, my little bear

Thank you for all that you do for the animals of your world. I read with interest the de-clawing site and cried upon reading the Rainbow Bridge site. The story of Della and her family was so sad. I truly hope little Arthur does well and continues to thrive in your loving care. Thanks again...

    i am new too!!!

I just found this site yesterday and already I've been checking constantly! I posted a pic of my Nytro and if I can do it, anyone can, believe me. I'm almost 50 and don't have a whole lot of computer smarts but I read the how to post and took a stab at it. With the help of the Gr8 folks on...

    Hi All

I was searching for the answer to whether it was ok to give cats cow milk and stumbled on your fabulous site. Nytro is definitely living up to his name ... my husband is a funny car fanatic and they use nitro fuel to jump start them (or so I'm told ) and nitroglicerin is for heart patients...
