Hi, We're waiting for a blood-test to confirm our cat's diagnosis of hyper-thyroidism. When we talked to her she did say that it can cause cat's to become more grumpy and aggressive so it does sound like this is part of the illness... Hope your poor kitty feels better soon! Rosie
