I have tried the laser pointer, he plays with it but does not follow it. As the the mouse/bird option no i have not tried it yet. The old owner is coming tomorrow, i hope he comes out when he sees her.

he's still up there well the old owner is coming on Thursday. right now I'm just trying to keep him calm and comfortable.

yep that's exactly what he said, if he's dead then we cut the hole. No he still hasn't come out. I have no other options but to wait him out. The old owner of the cat is coming next week to try and coax him out. For now I'm going to try and make him as calm as possible.

well i called the wildlife rescue and they told be they're is nothing they can do. the shaft is too tight for a catch pole and too small for a humane trap. unless he comes out to eat we can perhaps put a tarp outside. but so far he has not come out to eat...we will wait it out. Either he comes...

I tried putting tuna up there he just doesn't eat it he only goes for the kibble. I'm trying fancy feast right now hope that peeks his interest. And yes he is peeing up there, he hasn't used the litter yet.
