The mom was definitely a point, but I didn't get a great look at her as she seemed to be a bit wild. Or maybe just scared of new people.

Thank you, catwoman707! I took her outside. She sat on the porch with me, so I petted her for a bit, and when I went back inside, she wanted back in, too. Not sure what to do at this point.
