    Possible infection

    Could be a fungal or bacterial infection. You should take her to the vet just to be sure. Use a cone if she's scratching to prevent her from reopening her wounds. Neosporin without the pain reliever is fine to use, as is hydrocortisone to help with itching.

    Whoops, made a mistake! The vet gave her a depo-medrol/steroid shot and an injection of Convenia, which is a long-acting antibiotic.
