Thank you. He’s just been to the vet as it was a lot worse this morning when I checked him. He’s got some antibiotics and I’ve got to clean it with warm salt water. Thank you for your help.

Update: I removed Mog’s cone earlier this afternoon and he perked up instantly. However I’ve noticed that his neck is bleeding, not sure if he had a sore there before and the cone has dug into it. Do I take him to the vet? I don’t want it to get infected.

Should I remove the cone? He absolutely hates it. They told me to keep it on for 4 days so he doesn’t lick the wound. This is my first ever cat so I don’t have a lot of experience. He’s had something to eat this morning and he hasn’t been sick yet, he’s drinking fine and he’s been in his litter box.

Hello My male cat (1yr 3mths old) was neutered on Tuesday 17th and this morning I’ve noticed that inside his cone (to stop him from licking) it’s covered in sick. His cat biscuits have been eaten and he’s been drinking his water. His wound looks fine no oozing or anything. Do I need to call my vet?
