this happened to my mom's cat 3 weeks ago and we took him to the emergency clinic which cost about $800. He spent about 12 hours in oxygen cage and with xrays and exam found out he had aspirated fluid into his lung. This has just happened to him again although it doesn't appear to be as bad...
