Picture updated.  It started flaring up this week.  She's around 7 years old.  She doesn't scratch her mouth when she's lying around, but when she gets up to walk, she will likely scratch it. Guess I'll be visiting the vet.  Now there's a boil in the middle.

My poor lil snugglebums looks like this now: She scratches her mouth against any corner she can find from time to time. Is this acne? Or something more serious?

Is it safe to leave wet food out for so long?  Especially when we get to the hot summer months? A lot of the literature says grazing is a cause of obesity, so that's why I changed it.
