Our kitty was having problems this am with staggering and falling, so he went in for tests. Tests came out clean, thank goodness, and the vet is stumped as to a cause for his morning behavior. She gave him a shot of Metacam (anti-inflammatory) to see if that helps, in case he's developing...
I realize it's been a while since I first posted this thread, but Snicker's asked me to send a thank you to everyone who suggested Nutro pouches for his gravy intake. He LOVES this stuff. He cleans his plate every time!
Hi,
Our cat is currently on Friskies for his wet food, but I'd like to switch him to something more nutritious for him. Problem is, he likes the Friskies brand because they have several flavors that have a gravy. He LOVES gravy (he'd take a bowl of that over food, anytime, if he could). Does...

Check the phone book for any Emergency Vet services in the area since this is Sunday, most vets are closed. I'm guessing an upset stomach from the milk, but it might be something related to the surgery. Surgery takes a long time to recover from. Also, is kitty on any medication? Maybe that has...
Just another idea...
If the cat is a slow learner, so to speak and insists on heading back to furniture. Get a spray bottle with a direct steam function on the nozzle and fill it with water. If kitty starts to put its paws on the furniture, a quick spirts on the fanny is a good attention...
Personally, I've never believed in declawing. I've heard horrible stories of it being done wrong and the cat getting hurt physically and psychologically from it. Not to mention, if it were to get out and needed to protect itself, it wouldn't be able to as well. I just think declawing is cruel...
We took our cat to the vet this past week because I was fearing Feline Diabetes due to some recent slight behavior changes. They did a complete blood workup on him and the vet called back and told my husband they found no diabetes, thank goodness. But they did say the cats potassium was a couple...
