Both cats got an all clear at the vet's today. The vet said for one cat that the vommiting was probably hairballs that he can't expel. She said hairball medicine for a week should do it. The other cat who had an inflamed and smelly butt is okay too. The vet said he might just need me to help...

Thank you. I called the vet's office and they told me to bring him in this afternoon. My other cat seems to be having a problem with his anal glands, so the vet's going to examine both of them. I'll post news when we get back. Thank you for the good wishes.

Hi, one of my cats has been throwing up small amounts of clear, watery vommit. He's about 15 months old. Otherwise, he's playing and behaving normally. Do I need to get him to the vet right away? Thank you!

Today's the big day. They celebrated early by getting into the trash and making a mess! I gave them some tuna as a treat. I hate giving it to them because Landry gets it all over his fur and then he stinks. I don't think they've made the connection yet first tuna, then bath. Thanks...

Time zooms past. I was looking through pictures from their first week with me. They were soo tiny. I'll look again at how to post pictures. I'd like to post a small one at the bottom of my messages. I belong to webshots, but I've only used it a couple times.

Tomorrow is the first year anniversary of my adoption of my babies, Gipper and Landry. I'm so excited. I bought them a cypurr mouse and some other toys, but it looks like the package will be a few days late.

I'm going to switch to nonflushable in the hopes it covers odor better. I just finished scooping and the smell of urine near the litterbox was awful. The type I'm using now as emergency backup is nonclumping, nonflushable. And so dusty! I ordered a storage container from Petsmart based on...

I'm still laughing at "Meow Means Now." About controlling the odor from the litterbox, I've noticed a bit of an improvement and am expecting things to get much better. Putting that swinging door back on the litterbox was a huge plus.

Your cats are beautiful. Thanks for the tip. I couldn't get through to the vet's office today, so I went ahead and ordered Iams dry food. Maybe I'll smell an improvement!
