Please help manx kitten with incontinence

That can be pretty common in Manx cats. Manx cat's have their own "syndrum"...commonly known as Manx syndrome which can affect movement, mobility, and bowl control. It has to do with their lack of a tail and the development of their spine. If they aren't bred carefully by an experienced breeder...

    Learned to give SubQs today.

I'm glad you learned how to do sub-Q's. There much easier to give then intravenous fluids and take much less time and can be useful for a lot of things...for example if you ever find a stray cat or kitten (or other animal) who is dehydrated...you will be well prepared. I have been doing...

Concerned about cat when she defecate...

Don't be too worried. She could have just been straining. If there was no blood I don't think there is anything to be worried about. The inside of a cats anus is red colored so if she was just pushing too hard that is what you could have seen. If you are worried take her to the vet and he...

My cat is getting spayed on Thursday!

Don't be too worried. Complications in spays are pretty rare...as it is a common procedure which is well perfected and practiced by vets. Odd's are she will be fine. Try to confine her to a bedroom for a few days to make sure she isin't too active...and don't allow her to get wet until her...

    My little brother is dieing...

If he won't go see a regular doctor try and have him see someone who specializes in holistic medicine. There are plenty of doctors who use natural remedies. He could have a ruptured ulcer.

    How would you react?

That happened to me once when I think I was about 18. I was pretty miffed. I am 5'1 and really petite. I'm not a big make up girl either...and I work with dogs in a boarding kennel and have 4 dogs at home....so fancy "adult" clothing doesn't survive for long at my house. I am usually a jeans and...

Big bummer: George Carlin is dead

I was so sad when I herd. I went to check my email and I saw a little yahoo add that said "george carlin dead at 72"...I had to do a double take...and think I acutally said the words "what???" to...umm....myself. I was just talking with a friend about how much I liked him yesterday. Wow. So sad...

Keeping the House Smelling Nice. . .

A product called Nilliam...which is highly concentrated works wonders. I think it's made by Zep...but not sure. We use it at our doggy daycare...and you only need a capful per mop bucket. Works well for hand wood surfices and I think they also make a carper cleaner. Vingar is also great for...

    Help with pregnant stray

Will the new mom know what to do?

She may or may not. There is no way to tell really. Stress isin't really great for momma cats...but is there any way your could trap her until her babies were born to make sure they are safe. You should be able to adopt them out and then spay and release the mom so she doesn't keep adding to the...

    A second foster family

Wow...hard work. Caring for one litter is exhausting enough...two is a whole different thing all together!!! Remember to keep both litters separated and wash hands/change cloths after handling in case one of the moms was exposed and incubating or is a carrier for something...like URI which can...

Only One Kitten Born, Is this possible? Anyone knows....

Well one kitten is possible but it is rare. You should take her to the vet to make sure there are no complications or "stuck" kittens. A dead fetus inside the mother...and a kitten who is stuck...will not only kill all of the other kittens but will cause infection in the mother.
