4 DSHs, 2 of them new

I wish I had some good advice for you, but I'm still really new to all of this. I'm sure someone with more experience will help you better than I can. I just wanted to wish you luck - it sounds like a very stressful situation for everyone. How long have you had Wilder and Wrigley? Maybe you...

Toys That Aren't Meant To Be Toys

My cats love my hair scrunchies - the ones with cloth covering the elastic. That and golf balls - but we're trying to hide those better because they tend to bang them against the bedroom door around 3:00 in the morning! I'm pretty sure it's their way of saying "hey, come out of there and feed us!"

Suddenly won't stop with the biting

I'm glad to know this is a relatively common behavior problem - I was beginning to think Gilligan had lost his mind! I'll take everyone's advice and yell louder and then completely ignore for a while to try and break the behavior. Gilligan is definitely clever - my husband thought it would be...

Suddenly won't stop with the biting

Skipper is the low key kitty - he's sleeping. Hmm . . . I'll increase the volume of my "Ow" yells and see what that does. Thanks for the advice!

Where did you get your kitties?

We adopted Skipper & Gilligan from a rescue group - King Street Cats. We went in just to meet the cats (no intention of adopting that day), but Gilligan latched on to me and I fell in love. Then we found out about his brother, Skipper, who was very antisocial and hiding - wouldn't come out...

Suddenly won't stop with the biting

Hi everyone. I have two cats (Skipper & Gilligan) that we adopted a little over a month ago. Both cats like to give "love bites" - not new behavior, because they did it to one of the girls at the shelter while we were meeting them. They play rough together and I think the bites are just...

Which would you adopt him based on?

I'd say the first picture for the main shot because he's adorable in it - I know I'd click on him for more information based on that picture. On the inside, I'd put #2 and then either #4 or 5. I kind of like 5 better, but if he really loves the dangler then maybe 4 so the potential adopter...

    New cat owner here

Hi everyone! My husband and I adopted two cats from a rescue group about a month ago, almost immediately after our honeymoon. He grew up with cats, but I didn't have much experience with them (I grew up with dogs, but our building only allows cats or other small animals). Our cats are Skipper...
