My cat peed or sprayed on my bed??!!

Is he desexed? At 8 months he could be spraying because of... urges. He'd definitely need to be desexed if he isn't already. Or else it could be a urinary tract infection. The other option is he might be a bit stressed, cats don't cope that well with change. Is he used to your boyfriend being...

Please help me ID this skin condition -- Detailed Photos attached...

It does sound like Domodex mange , because apparantly that's not very itchy, whereas Notoedric mange(scabies) is extremely itchy. It does really look like a a type of mange. New vet time! P.S. Your cat is gorgeous, and the detail and depth of field in those photos looks amazing!!!

After over a week on Frontline...

This article is interesting :http://www.balgownievet.com.au/1_gen...ot_working.htm . That vet says that it can take 6-8 weeks from when you apply the product to completely eliminate fleas (to break the cycle).

De-clawing alternatives at my wits end :(

If he's clawing at you when you pick him up or touch him he might be in pain, particularly if this has just started recently. Considering his age it might be worth getting a vet check just to make sure he's OK. But if he seems comfortable and happy and is just "kneading" you with his claws...

Advice about a sort of stray please

I know quite a few people who have turned outdoor cats into indoor cats, including myself! My kitty was a street/feral and now lives very happily indoors. He's never tried to get outside, and we even left the front door open accidentally and he just sat in the doorway. Your kitty is probably...

    Concerns over popular catfoods

Science Diet is a bit better than the mainstream foods but not much better, especially considering the cost of it. When I looked at the ingredients it didn't seem that much better than the mainstream foods. Royal Canin looked much better. Apparantly Eagle Pack is really good but I haven't been...

How to make homemade catfood? Any good links?

I've been thinking about making my own cat food so I've found some links: Making Cat Food You can also get pre-made suppliments which you add to meat. Feline Instincts make some. I got both those links from an Australian cat forum where people discussed recipes for homemade cat food. That...

    Bald patches on head.

Apparantly cats can have ringworm without getting itchy and red, some cats with it just get bald patches. I did read once that sometimes cats around 18 months of age can get bald patches on their face(between eyes and ears) for no real reason. But since he's feral I'd get him checked out if you can.

    fleas :(

Over the counter products like shampoos don't work. You will need to use a topical treatment like Advantage . I used Advantage on my kitten when he had fleas. I bought it from my vet and I didn't have to take my kitten in or pay for a consultation. I also treated my house with a spray which...

All 3 cats have rash on chin...

My kitty had that (feline acne) as well. I found that ceramic bowls were just as bad as plastic bowls, I've switched to all stainless steel bowls now and it's getting much better.

    Broken tooth

I just wanted to add that kitten lose their baby teeth and get their adult teeth at about 5-6 months. I found this link quite useful. It has info about teething. http://www.cathelp-online.com/health/kitten3.php But, if your kittys tooth is broken off then he should get checked out by a vet. : )

    Help!!!

I can see you are very sad. This must be very hard. I hope your kitty is OK. It's not your fault that your parents can't afford to take her to the vet. Could you try to and call the local animal shelter/hospital? They might be able to help you. You can look in the phone book, or check on the...
