Mia had her spay surgery yesterday and is recovering well. Problem is with her litter. I was asked not to use normal litter and use shredded paper instead. However, the paper gets stuck to her E-collar and she ends up chewing it just to get it out of the way. She has not yet used the litter...

I do dry the floor etc, but she goes nuts for a few minutes anyway. I think it is just the scent. She has always been doing this ever since we got her.

My kitty reacts to bleach the same way she does to catnip, rolling all over and getting excited. I just used a spot of bleach to clean something on the floor and she has been going nuts, rolling all over the spot etc. I know bleach is safe for cats (am I right in this?) and I wiped the floor dry...
