I was just wondering if anyone has had any issues with hairballs, what you do for them, and can they cause blockage.

Our kitty wants to go out so bad.  We live in the country and there are many predatory critters in the woods, so we don't let him out.  We want to protect him.  I am just curious how others feel about this subject.
