Sorry for the lack of updates on this thread, and thank you to all who responded
Sadly the L-Lysine did not provide any improvement for my sweet girl's congestion issues.
I was giving 500g in the morning and 500g at night for 6 weeks and we saw zero improvement
This past weekend she lost...
My beloved Aspen crossed to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday afternoon.
My heart is absolutely broken as I write this and I cannot stop crying, yet I have no regrets as I know she wanted to go.
She was so very tired, I looked into her eyes and I knew she was tired of feeling sick and tired of...
Seriously?? I'm not too familiar with healthcare in the US and that blows my mind!
I live in BC and I pay BC medical $57 (or something like that) per month for my basic medical and then the extended medical (dental, prescriptions and specialists like chiro and massage) is through my work at...
I live in Canada so can't comment on the US medical stuff
My monthly BC med premium went up $4 a month but I can swallow that since its still only $57 a month
Well, I haven't had a BBQ in a disgusting number of years (but I will have one soon!!! so exciting!) and I dislike steaks cooked in the fry pan or in the oven

*hugs* My boyfriend is a two-time leukemia survivor, I know all too well the fear that comes along with that. Many prayers for you and your husband.
People say money can't fix everything, but it certainly can help.
My wish would be for enough money to help get my loved ones into more...

Libby is a chatty girl, she talks to us almost constantly. If I don't "talk back" to her or acknowledge her in some way then her "chatting" turns into more of a "pay attention to me" whine
I know how hard it is when you can't afford to bring your baby in for vet care, but this is definitely an emergency situation
When they are that sick so suddenly then there is definitely something majorly wrong and your kitty needs vet care
I agree with the other posters - sounds like Levi either had enough of the attention and reacted accordingly or he was startled
If he is a bit of an agressive cat anyway then I'd try the Feliway to see if this helps, or see your vet about possible meds to help with it
and also of course remind...
Lots of virtual hugs! Unfortunately miscarriage in the first trimester is common, quite a few of my friends have gone through this...but knowing that is common doesn't make it any less painful and surely doesn't lessen your grief
I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage, but the good news is...
