I do my laundry at mom's house--it's bonding time and saves me money.  We put things in the dryer to fluff and then hang outside, except in the dead of winter when we need them to dry faster--then we hang them around the house!!

Unfortunately, I do not have the resources to adopt another cat.  I don't think Mel had a friend at the shelter.
