    Any safe ointment for incision?

Is it safe to use Neosporin to help heal my boy's surgical incision? He has malignant melanoma, and his most recent surgery was three weeks ago.  Stitches are out, but healing is slow due to radiation therapy he received (in the same area of his neck) earlier this year.  He won't see the...

    lesion in cats mouth

We discovered a ugly sore in my 14-year old boy's mouth last December.  It was malignant melanoma.  I think maybe your vet could just aspirate it instead of biopsy?  That was they could look at the cells on a slide. My advice would be to ask about aspirating it.   My boy is still with us, but...

Use of Palladia in treating malignant Melanoma

We were not able to locate palladia.  We will be undergoing our 4th surgery on Wednesday.  This is a pic of what the initial malignant melanoma looked like before it was removed in December.  PLEASE be aware that even indoor kitties can get malignant melanoma, and  it is a devastating diagnosis.

Use of Palladia in treating malignant Melanoma

My cat was diagnosed with malignant melanoma in December. It was on his lower lip.  He has always been an indoor kitty, and I am told melanoma is rare in cats.  Surgery, chemotherapy (carboplatin), and radiation have failed. He has had no side effects, acts normal and happy, and is actually...
