Thank you, everyone.  I got to spend a couple of hours sitting with him on the couch last night.  I feel like he's probably miserable but isn't in acute pain.  I will plan on getting him to the vet on Monday.

I used Professional Arts Pharmacy in Baltimore, MD.  It is somewhat local to me (I live in MD) and they would ship the meds to me.  They have a toll free number and I'm guessing they will ship most anywhere in the US, but I don't know for sure.  Might be worth a call if you can't find anything...

I know nothing about CH.  But, it sounds like the kitty might not be good fit for you.  Your heart is in the right place though.  Likely there is another kitten out there needing a good home.
