she's the only animal in the house? while most cats are pretty independent, some can be a little clingy. i would think she just likes being around you.. it probably makes her feel safe. i wouldnt worry about it.

you wont necessarily have to spend hundreds at the vet. Im no expert but i think your best bet would be to take him to the vet immediately. The vet can tell a lot just from seeing the animal. glad you were able to rescue the baby. 4 of my 5 cats were neighborhood strays. They just all showed up around the house so we started feeding them and eventually took them in. My neighbor works for a humane society, she had a kitten that had to have her eye removed. We adopted her.

LOL we have a white deaf cat also. i totally know what you mean about the yelling. with ours is all about attention. he gets lonely when everyone's asleep and starts yelling unless hes in the bedroom.
