3wk old update, and more questions

My cat looked just like your little kitten when she was little. The vet thought she had a very unusal coat, thats why we took her (They had kittens they were adopting) We call her smokey because under the black she's white, though her nose and paw pads are black. She is almost a year now and...

Stomach dropped? Is that mean labor is soon?

Someone told me today that the other cats coming around means she is going to be giving birth soon. Think so? I am going to adopt one of the kittens, maybe two.

Stomach dropped? Is that mean labor is soon?

He is keeping her indoors right now. Got kind of cold this past week (around 60). As for the tom coming around, I am going to call for a trap. Tonight I saw another tom (Orange and white) in my front yard. Not sure why they are coming around all of the sudden. Maybe they like to play with...

Stomach dropped? Is that mean labor is soon?

well they really can't get to her, just watch her from the fence. I was wondering if they sense she is pregnant and want at her kittens or if they are just being friendly. She has a cat door she goes in and out of and a cat fenced backyard.

Stomach dropped? Is that mean labor is soon?

Thanks for the info! I have also noticed some stray cats hanging out in my back yard trying to get at his. I thought that was strange since she isn't in heat. Maybe they just want to play? One cat is a spayed female semi feral of my neighbors and the other a stray tom (looks like a tom from...

Stomach dropped? Is that mean labor is soon?

Hi guys! My neighbor has a pregnaunt foster cat. From what they told her, she should have kittens around the end of March, or maybe middle of March. Her nipples are huge and she has been having a huge belly sticking out from the sides for awhile now. She eats good and has been given kitten...

Back or Spine looks to be sinking in, is this a genetic trait?

Look at this picture, what kind of cat is this?

This is a picture I found that looks like the same cat. What is strange is the markings are the same. The female feral that lives next door passed it on to one of her kittens (that is now 8 months old). Same cirlce in the center. I just thought it was odd. I am thinking maybe somewhere down...

Look at this picture, what kind of cat is this?

I ran across this picture and this cat has the exact, and I mean exact pattern that my neighbors feral cat has. It has what my neighbor calls a "traget" on its belly. Their cat is a little more greyish brown than this one but all the strips are the same. The cat is female, they just got her...

Back or Spine looks to be sinking in, is this a genetic trait?

It seems to run and play just fine. They are very feral so I cant get close enough to examine. The cats littermate also has the same spine shape. It is a brownish grey color but has black circle shapes in its fur. They call it target because of the pattern. The mother also has the same...

Back or Spine looks to be sinking in, is this a genetic trait?

I noticed my neighbors cat, a black domestic cat, has a sagging low spine/back. My cat is a black cat as well but is half bombay. Her posture is very straight. Is the slopping back a genetic trait of a certain breed? The best way to explain it is she looks like a tiger. The back spine...

    How do cats know?

Human eyes do not have the same 'triggers' as feline. When we are angry our puplis do not contract, and we we are scared they do not enlarge. Only a light source can change human puplis.

Need help, my kittens are driving me crazy!

Hmm, if they are marking their territory they shouldn't be doing the same spots. Try putting out a few more litter boxes, see if that helps.

    How do cats know?

Actually this is a very good question. Cats actually have no way of knowing that our eyes are what we see with. They don't know what they even look like unless they have seen a mirror and then they believe it is another cat. It has learned from it's mother or other cats that eyes are an...
