    Christmas/birthday presents?

Do you get gifts for your cat? I always get stuff to put in Marishka's stocking, and this year money is tighter but I still wanted to get something. This is my husband and my first christmas together and away from our families, and we are not exchanging gifts for each other, but I still wanted...

    Little sores on neck

MY 3 y.o. healthy until now cat took her collar off this morning (does occasionally so we give her a little break). I was scratching her neck/back of head and noticed tiny bumps. We held her still and I saw little scabs, about a quarter (the coin, not a quarter or her head) sized area under...

    New car!

Thanks for all the responses! I did see something that I liked, a 2006 Ford Focus, and the price is right...it might be the one! Also I did see a Mazda 3 (and 6) and they are verrry nice : ) I was waiting to buy until next weekend, but it's so hard to wait...lol When I do decide, and if the...

    New car!

Hi : ) I am looking for a new car, and would love any recommendations anyone has. I don't know that I have too many specifications as to what I want, really. I've been driving a 1993 Dodge Spirit since I was 16, so now that I have my first job in the field since graduating, I want to treat...

Our cat just will not eat

I'm so sorry to hear about Macy. My thoughts and prayers are with you

Should I donate it? The flavors aren't on the "list" but...

That's my problem. Marishka doesn't want to eat food after it is refrigerated, but only eats a little more than 2 oz at a time (which fancy feast does have that was fun getting her 'off' that ) I do think I remember seeing Solid Gold being in 3 oz cans, and Merrick's smallish cans are 3 oz, I...

Wheat gluten & RPC actually wheat flour?

Exactly...now, I am not at all a scientist or work with the FDA, so I do not know about the process involved to test this stuff...but if they were really doing very deep testing, of probably hundreds of cans of food and ingredients...wouldn't one test, or even person, have caught that it wasn't...

Wheat gluten & RPC actually wheat flour?

I know what you mean. I find myself thinking about the food I used to give her, back when she was "just a stray". I never thought twice about it... I worry about my grandma...she's elderly, weakened immune system. Could her body fight contaminated food? I mean, it's spread to so many...

Eye test - who needs the stinkin' eye dr!

The botoom two were easy for me, it was finding the C! I know I need to go, since even with my glasses I am 'squintey' and I've run out of contacts again. You'd think I'd try to remember I'm so lazy....lol

WOMEN ONLY!! (And I mean that!!)

That could def. be it. It kills all the bacteria in your body, even the good bacteria down there. I would stock up on some yogurt and head to the dr. The stuff mine gives me always works better than OTC stuff.

Wheat gluten & RPC actually wheat flour?

Agreed 100%, especially the bitter part... I mean, some companies have not lost as much of their 'fan base' as I would have thought. I was at the pet store and overheard one man saying how he couldn't wait until a certain brand of food was back on the shelves. I mean, would you really want to...

    He eats EVERYTHING!!!

I can relate...our situation is not nearly as much as yours, and luckily we've never had to go to the vet for anything, but I feel for you! I hate to admit this, but when Marishka was a kitten, I gave into every whim of food she wanted. If I had somethign she really couldn't eat, like chocolate...

    When to put on collar?

I have to second this. She is very nice, and got them to me 2 days after I ordered! I've been back multiple times

    Ultimate cat brush?

I use a little 2 pack baby hair brush and comb set. It was reallllly cute and maybe $2, and works better than the petstore one I bought when I first got her. The comb really seems to get the hair out, but she really enjoys the brush : )
