They're doing great! Veruca is a bit overly protective of them, but she keeps them all very safe and warm. I totally understand where she's coming from; my son can literally bounce off walls for hours at a time. All of the kittens have opened their eyes, and there's two males, two females. I've...
Yep, finally! I think I'm a bit more timid than veruca is about handling them, but she let me hold all four of them for quite a while today while Ian was taking a nap. There was a little kitty fight over a nipple, too!
I'm not positive, but some places give the cat a little tattoo or something on their bellies after they are fixed.
Wow, your kittens are huge! Mine are so tiny still... They're certainly growing, but in no way look that size. I know they're eating, everytime I check on them they are at a teat...

I didn't name her, but that's what I'm assuming. My son, who is verbal but has a lot of difficulty speaking, calls her "Vahrooooooka!" He says it so well, we fell in love with the name and kept it. I'm no good with naming pets anyway; I grew up with two dogs named Lady and Peanut.
Veruca...
I've found really good homes for two of them so far (my son's autism advocate and my adult daughter wants the kitten without a tail). I have about eight weeks to find the other two homes. I've got the money set aside for their first shots and Veruca's "no-more-kitties" operation, too. As awesome...
It must be so frustrating for you. First, you think she's due, then overdue, then really overdue... then you find out she isn't due yet?! And now she's due again, so it starts all over... (((big hugs))) You poor dear. You should explain to Coral that you've had enough scares already, and she...
We got a moment to get a few shots of the kittens while momma cat took a break. Unfortunately, the best picture of the tailless cat is the front of her.
