It seems like Duchess rarely spends time with them. I haven't seen her nurse. The babies look like they're not gaining weight. Any ideas?? Also, she keeps separating one of her newborns from the rest. I put it back with the others, but then she grabbed another and separated him/her from the others.

Congrats on the babies!! They look beautiful and HEALTHY! And thanks for providing pix when she was in labor!! It helps me out with mine, as I'm waiting for Duchess to go on labor as well. I know the anxious feeling!!

I bought this nail trimmers for cats/kittens, but I'm always sooo scared that I might cut their quick. I just trim the tips also, but it still hurts. Luckily, their vaccines are due, and I'm gonna try and have the vet teach me how to do it. I have scratch marks on my arm and ankles now.

My three 7 week old ones seem to be playing rough. Their claws are always out when they play with us. When they play with each other, I sometimes hear the girl (Prada) yelp. Is this normal?

I'm sooo heartbroken. I can't stop crying... My dad won't let me keep my stray and her kittens in the house. I can't be selfish and keep them and have them be outdoor cats. I'm faced with the decision of giving them away once they're old enough (12 weeks minimum). I'm just soo unbelievably...
