Thanks for the speedy replies...  it has done wonders for my stress levels.   :) I'm positive it is still there as she was trying to walk with the kitten dangling....  so I tied it off and cut the cord.  I did take the kitten away, after she tried to eat it. I'm thinking that the remaining...

ok thanks for that.  I will call a vet when they open.  Also is it possible that the placenta will come out when she starts pushing again?  Because the kitten was so small and underdeveloped will the placenta be small as well?

p.s. -  she has stopped pushing/ contracting and the placenta has not been passed, the kitten is still attached kind of hanging ....  :(  so sad

hey all,   my CeCe just had her first kitten and it is very underdeveloped and clearly not alive... :( I know that she was bred mid april and so things should be ok, felt kittens moving for last little while.....  anyways.... my main question is should I take it away from her so she can...
