My cat Sylas pants when it's hot, or when he runs too much. He has Asthma and CH. I think the CH affects the Asthma because he has to work harder to walk. I would definitely take your cat to the vet to get checked for lung infections/Asthma/etc. Better safe than sorry. If he does has Asthma...
