Both my cats aren't eating because of illness so I'm desperate to try anything. I heard that catnip and valerian can sometimes work so I was just curious to hear peoples' experiences with it if anyone had tried it for that purpose. I appreciate any input.

You were right! I took Sangha in today and the vet we saw said it was URI. She wrote up a script for Clavamox, cyproheptadine, L-lysine(which I said I'd get on my own since they were overcharging for it). She said that I could give the cyproheptadine to both cats but it hasn't worked out so far...
