    Valerian?

Not yet but I plan on it today when I pick Titan up. Yesterday she mentioned giving him Mirtazapine but I'm a little worried since he had a bad reaction to the cyproheptadine. This vet is the 3rd one I've dealt with in the past week since he's been sick. So far I like her the best because I feel...

Thank you for the hugs we need them right now. I appreciate any positive kitty vibes you can send our way.

    Valerian?

Both my cats aren't eating because of illness so I'm desperate to try anything. I heard that catnip and valerian can sometimes work so I was just curious to hear peoples' experiences with it if anyone had tried it for that purpose. I appreciate any input.

    Valerian?

Has anyone ever tried using Valerian as an apetite stimulant for their cat? Does it work?

Frustrating weekend...my baby is in the hospital

That's Sangha above. I've never seen his eyes look like that. Here's a pic of Titan. His eyes have been running for days. He's been on his amoxocillin for almost a week but I'm not sure it's helping. It's hard to tell with him because of all his other issues going on as well.

Frustrating weekend...my baby is in the hospital

I took Titan back to the vet yesterday because he wasn't eating again and friday night he had a bad reaction to the cyproheptadine. He was falling down when he'd try to jump on the couch or his bed and he was walking like he was dizzy. Yesterday he was completely lethargic and he urinated all...

My Cat is Having Constant Spasms and No One Knows Why!!! HELP ME!!!!

I'm so sorry for what you're going through but I'm glad your cat's spasms have subsided a little. When your vet did blood work how was his potassium level?

    Wet food brand suggestion?

I'm now going to need a diet for Titan that is specific for his kidney stones. The vet(Banfield Hospital) said they recommend Hills and Royal Canin but aren't these brands poor quality(even the prescription diets)? I told her that I've been reading about alot of cat owners who feed raw food...

    Am I worrying for nothing?

You were right! I took Sangha in today and the vet we saw said it was URI. She wrote up a script for Clavamox, cyproheptadine, L-lysine(which I said I'd get on my own since they were overcharging for it). She said that I could give the cyproheptadine to both cats but it hasn't worked out so far...

Finally got his diagnosis. His ultrasound was today and they found kidney stones and also a stone in his bladder. Also him and Sangha both have URIs.
