Hey guys!
Happy New Year. I'm likely calling the vet tomorrow but want some extra help before I do that. We got two/three month old Kairi two months ago and after a very hostile week with Sasuke and Luna, they fell in love with her. Or at least I think. Kairi had giardi but was on her last day...
Usually gotta check the stool for worms even after deworming. Also if you changed her food she'll have diarrhea. Also could be food allergy. My cat can't have beef or he has diarrhea and blood. Feed high quality wet food such as Ziwipeak or instinct in my opinion :)
Hello to all my friends here on thecatsite. Thank you so much for the advice over the years and hope I have been helpful to others.
At this time I am writing to you all because I am the Writer/Producer for a short film called “AERIS”, which is a true story about a kitten named Aeris who died...
Yes sounds like you're doing everything right. Just make sure Bella isn't near the foggers when you set them off as they're toxic and be sure to wash down surfaces after the fogger.
Worms is most likely the issue. But if it isn't worms, and I hope and pray this isn't it... but it could also be FIP. My kitten had that and was bone thin, huge belly, diarrhea.. Ask to do a belly tap at the vet just to be sure. Which will test her belly for fluid. I'm sure that's not it - but...
I agree to keep an eye on him. But it's possible too he ate something he shouldn't have while you were gone, hence why he vomited before passing out asleep
Hi there,
Couple questions, you said got it 'from a while back' - I know this is a silly question, but did you check the expiration date? I wanted to use a treatment I got two months ago but saw it expired so quickly and threw it away. Just because it sounds like you're saying her behavior...
I definitely agree on the cat tree!
It takes a really long time to adjust sometimes for certain cats. Also, your title says he detests other animals but sounds like he's always been around other animals and probably enjoyed the company. I would think a friend would probably be a good idea for...
My kitten is doing the same. It's best to constantly redirect with toys. Replace fingers with toys instead of just showing him the toys. Sometimes I cry out in pain or a growl or a hiss so she understands (which is how I assume her mama cat would react which would teach her). But really in my...
Thank you so much for the reply. I disagree slightly about vets being the easiest way to solve problems. One because it's the hardest on the cats and two because they don't have all the answers and may likely just run up a bill for me, you know? Just wondering if any others saw their older cats...
Hi! I have two two year old bengals (boy Sasuke and a girl Luna) and got a Siamese tabby mix kitten a week ago. The rescue said she's 3 months but she is way too tiny for that. Anyway, the first 6 days was the usual separation and hissing then switched rooms and that was still rough. Luna was so...
