    Watery Eyes (old cat)

Doesnt sound to me that she would need surgery! Sounds like just old age. Im not an expert. My cat has runny eyes and hes young. The vet said just keep them clean with a wet cloth. He said if he has no other symptoms, its probably just a chronic thing.

something seriously wrong with my cat

I had a cat with runny stool and I had to feed him all canned food. Everyone one is different but I would try a diet change first, then maybe go back to the vet to see if maybe it is irritable bowel. One of our cats at the shelter has that and leaks all over the floor! Good luck!

    What's a girl to do?

Keep the cat! If the neighbors let it outside and they dont get it back... that is their own problem. I can see if you happen upon a cat one day that you never saw, then put up flyers. But you pretty much know they let the cat out, they didnt accidently lose it. Keep it!!

Tough decision...what to do about Cuddles

Sounds like a happy ending! The people were right in saying most old cats are unadoptable, but its not totally true. I work with a no kill shelter in PA and, we dont cage our cats by the way, but... I have seen some kitties in bad shape get adopted... you just never know. I wish Cuddles luck...

Trying to do the right thing!!!

I work at a no kill in PA and we do NOT cage our cats! they live together in separate rooms and people come throughout the day to care for them. We also have foster homes and have an adoption center at Petsmart. So, while no all shelters are like ours, we dont all keep them in cages. She is...

Trying to do the right thing!!!

a no kill shelter is fine for cats. Most have foster homes too that would be able to have your kitty live in a real home while waiting for a forever home. I guess not all no kills are like that, but check around. Where are you located?

Animals in Disaster - survey for class

I would do whatever it took to take my pets along. I could not live with myself knowing they had to try and survive on thier own and never knowing what happened to them.

There's something really wrong with my cat...please help!

I totally agree with you on that point, but being in cat rescue, I have talked to people that just "dont get it". I was mad that she was just going to leave her. I said take her to a no kill shelter that will at least make sure she is not in pain. If she loves her cat, I think she would even...

There's something really wrong with my cat...please help!

That was cute. I dont think she will come back because she doesnt want to get yelled at for not taking care of responsibilities. This is why I like animals better than people. So we probably wont ever hear the outcome of this sad story....

    Feeding schedule

I would do the smaller portions thing since they are used to free eating. This way you can limit thier intake but they still feel like they are eating all day. GOod luck!

How Many Cats is TOO MUCH for 1 Litter Box (No Matter How Big It IS...)

I have 3 litter boxes lined up for 4 cats and usually they all use the same one. I think as long as you keep it clean and they dont have an issue with sharing, it doesnt matter
