    aggression

Thanks for the replies. Yeah she does look pretty sweat. She really enjoy when we pet her, but the problem is the aggression. We stop petting her when she shows signs (tail) so it's not a problem... And with a name like Tendresse (French word for Tenderness) it was obvious that she'd lack some...

    aggression

Hi folks, I haven't logged on in a while, I guess it's a good thing in a way as some problems that I had with my cat went away... Our baby, Tendresse, now about 16 months old is very aggressive. This is nothing new, but we basically lived with it. By Aggressive I mean that when she bytes, it's...

    Various (related?) problems with poo!

Well I went to a fairly big cat food store (The Pampered Pet) in Ottawa, and I bought Tendresse some all natural food from a brand they recommended. 1 bag for kittens and 1 for cats with long fur. I mixed them up and have been giving her this for about a week now and have seen improvements...

    Hello from Luds & Stephanie

Thanks We love her so much! It's Stephanie's first cat so she's very special to her as well! It's our first cat together, but my 3rd as I had 2 cats at my parents. Cat people rule!

    Various (related?) problems with poo!

Thanks to everyone who replied! Like ash_bct said, SPCA's in Canada do sell cats for about 70$. Tendresse was about 2-3 weeks when we picked her up. I'll try some of the natura foods, and try to get some crystal clear litter.

I've updated my signature with a recent picture of Tendresse in a grocery bag. SHe loves them! Every week... She'll spend a few hours sleeping in there assoon as we put it on the floor!

    Various (related?) problems with poo!

To answer some questions, she was probably very young when she left her mom. I bought her in an SPCA store and they told me she might have been with her mom for a few days or up to 2 weeks. I do trim her and it does help. I'll try the vet I guess, and maybe new food. She only eats dry food...

    Various (related?) problems with poo!

anybody else has ideas? I don't know what to do about the smell, I really thought Science Diet was good food! And about the fact that it's so soft?

    Various (related?) problems with poo!

Hi, I noticed that my cat doesn't seem to wash her rear end. I never had that problem with my other cats. One possibility (I'm guessing here) is that her poo is just too stinky? Let me be clear here: It's nasty! The entire apartment smells. I've never seen anything quite like it. I can't even...

    Kitten not Eating

My first cat hated dry food that she used to get at the vet. She never ate any and as a kitten, we almost lost her. We bought like 10 kinds of food and eventually she started eating whiskas. That's the only cat food she ever ate. Nothing dry, nothing other than whiskas, and even then it had to...

    Is spraying bad?

I noticed things that moved on the table during the day as well... But at least that's one thing she never does: jumping on the table when we're there. -- I'm happy to say that by paying attention to her signs, and being at home with her more during the hollidays, we figured that Tendresse...

    messy backside

I did the same for my cat Tendresse. It really works well. She was very aggressive about it so I had to cut some hair little by little when she was passive or sleepy.

    Hello from Luds & Stephanie

Thanks everyone! She's now 12 and a half pounds! And about 10 months old. She's so long it's crazy! And she's not fat at all... Anyways, I'll update with more picks shortly!

    Is spraying bad?

Thanks for the help! My girlfriend and I will try not to spray for a while. Tendresse doesn't seem to be afraid of the bottle at all so far or even of us with the bottle in our hands... All she does is close her eyes and move her ears! (if she hasen't done anything wrong). She even uses the...
