    Paws on face

Thanks for the replies. I guess there are different ways he does reach out to me, sometimes pushing, sometimes touching. It's just that I always thought I was his favorite human - he's always following me around, and always sits next to me - but yet I'm the only one he pushes away (he does get...

    Paws on face

Hi, Each time I pick my cat up, he always outs his paw on my face - sort of like he's pushing it away. I'm the only one he does it too - what does it mean - that he doesn't like me picking him up?

    5 month old still feeding

Hello all, We have a mummy cat and kitten. The kitten is over 5 months - but is still feeding off mummy!! She eats her normal food also - dry as well as fish - but she can't seem to kick this habit. Is it normal to be feeding at this age - or should I be taking some action?

    New male kitten

Hello, We have 3 cats at present 2 female, 1 male. Our male is a 14 month old persian. We're planning to adopt another 4 month old persian male. Our male is used to the females, and plays with them but since he is a bit of a bully I'm not sure how he'll take to a male. What precautions should be...

    Rough play??

I have a mommy cat and a 7 wk kitten. They play a lot- but sometimes it seems that the mother is over aggressive - sometimes it looks like shes biting the kitten. Sometimes it looks like shes pushing her around. Is this normal? At what point should I intervene?

However the dryness around the eye still remains and despite me using warm water to dampen it on a regular basis, it still is present. Are there any solutions...

    Human contact with new-borns

Hi Katie, Yep, we're keeping Muffin away at all costs - although he really misses his friend and is as curious as hell to find out whats going on. As for low cost clinics - I live in India - would you know of any out here??

    Human contact with new-borns

Hi, my cat has just delivered - unfortunately one didn't make it, but she has another kitten. Someone told me that we should avoid contact with the newborn - due to the fact that Mama cat wouldn't take care of it due to the scent - is this true? How can I help them otherwise?

    Do persian males attack newborns

Hi all, Thanks for the good advice, I'll be sure to get them done. Just wanted to know when can I let the kittens have contact with the male, is there a time limit - say after 2, 3, 4 weeks, or is it indefinite?

    Do persian males attack newborns

We recently adopted a female cat. After we brought her home we found she was pregnant. We already have a 1 year old male persian at home - he isn't neutered. Although he's not aggressive towards her (but he does follow her around) we were wondering if he's likely to harm the kittens when they...
