Nature's Variety Instinct Raw Boost (dry)

wow. ok...I'll have to check them out.  Do I need to wet it if I'm putting in more raw freeze dried pieces?  or a few more is ok?  I do feed them grain free can food too so as you can imagine that drives the price up a bit. I remember the days of cat chow and nine lives   Those were the simple...

Nature's Variety Instinct Raw Boost (dry)

HI there...I did mix it with water as instructed.  Lizzie is not usually picky, it's Gizmo who is.  With Primal, neither of them wanted it.  I'm a bit nervous using Stella and Chewy because of their recalls last year.  I have never done raw but did consider the freeze dried raw because of how...

Nature's Variety Instinct Raw Boost (dry)

Strangely enough I tried primal. I was able to get some sample sent to me. I tried it a couple of days and they snubbed their noses at it. I remember I had to mix it with water. I tried it as a substitute for the dry food. They didn't seem to like it. We tried all three types.

Switching cat's wet food flavor each meal

good question as I had not thought about it.  I think I'm used to dogs/cats eating the same dry food every day, but as for the can food, we change it up.  Mine get three kinds of Merrick and one Blue Buffalo Freedom can food.  I rotate them and feed them twice a day.

    New Here-Calorie and Calculator information

I apologize because I didn't explain about the links.  I found the first link and it says for a 11 lb cat, they should have 281 calories a day or 225 if they need to lose weight.  The second link has a different formula on calculating how many calories your cat needs.  It says (calculating 11...

    New Here-Calorie and Calculator information

I am new to the site.  I have two cats, Lizzie and Gizmo, both siblings and both about 1 1/2 years old and I would say they have normal activity levels.   I have recently transitioned them to more can food than dry.  Quite honestly, I can't afford all can food.  I tried a lot of can foods (Tiki...
