Very upset owner, kitty with cystitis

Hi Susan, Leeroy is great. 3 months in and he is a completely different cat. Not even a recurrence of cystitis so I am really happy to have my kitty back. He's gone back to his kitten like self, sleeping with me and constantly following me around nod sitting on me. The only thing that has...

My Experience With Blockages and PU Surgery

I've not started him on the AVC, I'm going to speak to the vet first. He's still doing really well and eating loads. He's not had any symptoms of cystitis as yet, I think because he is now eating as he should and with all the added water I give him there's no crystal build up. He's peeing like...

My Experience With Blockages and PU Surgery

Well, he came home just 24 hours after the surgery, very small incision site and he's full of beans. Trying to keep him rested is certainly a challenge as whenever anyone goes in to the room he goes crazy, purring and jumping around for loving lol. He goes back tomorrow for a check up and then...

My Experience With Blockages and PU Surgery

Well, he's had the surgery and all went well. Still waiting on a phone call to see how he was when he came out of the anaesthetic but he's been under before so no too worried (who am I kidding, I'm sick with worry lol). What I am concerned about is the fact that they are looking to discharge...

Cat follows me into the bathroom for attention?

I love this thread. I have three cats and whenever I go to the toilet I get an escort. Saba, the rather slim Bengal girl gets in the sink for head butts, Leeroy, the fluffy pixie bob male, gets on my lap, and Dobby, the big fat mogul male sits at my feet lol. It's hilarious until we have guests...

My Experience With Blockages and PU Surgery

Thank you so much for your insightful post. My baby Leeroy has now blocked three times and it's now the pu surgery or over the rainbow bridge. He is only 5 years old so I feel we should give him every chance of a full life. He is scheduled for the surgery on Monday and I'm so nervous for him. I...

Hi from a newish member and her babies

Hi, I've been on the forum a little while now due to my baby Leeroy having flutd and some serious issues with it. I didn't get a chance to introduce us all as I needed help there and then but he is now fast improving so here we are. I am owned by three cats. Saba was my first and is a bengal...

Very upset owner, kitty with cystitis

He's on Metacam, which is like paracetamol for cats and his relaxant is called Hypovase. They seem to be doing the trick for him he really was at deaths door just a week ago. Hope your kitty feels better soon. If you have any worry that kitty hasn't weed for 24 hours, take to the vet immediately.

Very upset owner, kitty with cystitis

Well, I'm pleased to report that for now at least my baby is home and feeling better. He must've overheard the options the vet have us and thought neither sounded good and did a 180. He came home on Thursday with painkiller, antibiotic and muscle relaxant meds. It's been fun trying to get them...
