    Help!!!

Ok... My cat Mowgli is pretty dehydrated, extremely skinny, and has some brownish stuff by her mouth. It's not foamy, so I really hope it's not rabies. She's not afraid of water or anything. We're getting her to the vet as soon as possible, but I was wondering if anyone knew what this was...

    Heart murmur

I have a heart murmur. Heart murmurs are strange, because they are unique compared to others' heartbeats, but completely normal to the body of whoever has it. It doesn't restrain me from doing anything. I'm on my highschool soccer team.

    Protein Question

Have you checked her for worms? Many cats gain weight because they have worms in their intestines. The worms make things harder to digest, so the cat ends up over-eating.

Cat Food Question- Help a Newbie out

"Thanks to continued pressure from PETA and compassionate people around the world, Iams has stopped using baby chicks in crude protein-digestibility experiments. The company is currently in the process of validating a non-animal test method called “IDEA” that it says should be ready by the end...

Cat Proofing your home for Christmas

All of my cats have a wierd thing for christmas. I've had cats who climb the tree, some who play with the ornaments, and one who pulls off each ornament and puts them in a pile in the corner of my living room. Some of my cats knock decorations off the table, eat flowers (not poinsettias, they're...

URGENT! i cant tell if my cat is dying!

Dehydration is probably your cat's biggest threat right now. It is deadly. Put water in the syringe and keep getting it to her. Quick way to diagnose dehydration: Gently pull up on the scruff of her neck. Her skin should go back to normal in less than two seconds. The longer it takes to go back...

    Cat Milk

I've bought that for my cats before. It is mainly just an indulgence. It has some good nutrients in it, but it isn't intended as a supplement. My cats like it, though. I'd have to say they like whiskas treats better...

Alternative to surgical removal of testicles ?

This might sound stupid, but sometimes if you leave your cat intact, they don't think they have time for you anymore. I have had MANY cats that I couldn't afford to neuter, and about half of those ran away and never came back, even with our close relationship. This is bad for you, your cat, and...

Can you use orajel on cats?

Sweetie, my Scottish Fold, has gingivitis. She is on antibiotics. I feel so sorry for her because her mouth hurts so much. She even swallows her food whole. Does anyone know if you can use baby orajel or a softer strength oral pain-relief medication? Thanks a bunch, Kelsey.

    I can't find a show cage.

Yes, she is a show quality Scottish Fold. I will probably use a provided cage for the first few shows, and if I think I want to show a lot, then I will buy one. Thank y'all so much for your help.
