on the other hand, the electric collar does not hurt (ok..it shouldnt, or there should be a way to ensure it doesn´t) but it surprises the cat. Like when he wants to go to a whole (a real one) and something goes out, bittes him and goes back. The cat will not want to put the face or leg again...
Actually I have never heard of someone using a collar for a cat...I have heard it for dogs. I was just wondering what´s the difference between this and the machines that spray citrus on a cat when it approaches somewhere...the idea is the same (ok...almost...) but the one is considered ok and...
Hi all!!
I would like to know the opinion or experience of people who have use electric collars in order to train their cats.
I´m talking about the collars that make a little discharge when you push a button on a command. Like this someone could for example teach the cats which plant they are...
Luck and piolin heve just been neutered 1 week ago and they are playing and jumping aroung like before since the 2nd day. I hope your kitten is fine...
Hi all, finally Luck was ok!! going back home I found him just jumping around and playing as always. Him and his brother Piolin have recovered from the operation very fast and they are now 2 little angels.
Only one question..how fast is the change of hormones after the castration...? How fast...
I wouldn't say there was something he could have licked...in any case, isn't it better if he is not operated tomorrow if he still seems sick..? i guess the vet will have something more to say anyway...
Hi all,
My 6 months old kitten vomited this morning (at 6.00) and when i woke up at 8.00 he was still seeming to be a bit sick...he actually refused a bit of ham (i gave him to see if he is sick or not). His nose was also a bit more red than the normal and a bit more hot...tomorrow we go to the...
Yeah..i was just a bit desparate..i have stoped doing this, i just stuck a tape with on the bottom of the door, one of those tapes that stick from both sides..for the moment he scratches less..
The first thing i would do is never leave something interesting for the cat on the table or counters. Then I would try several tricks, most of them can be found around in this forum, some of them:
* Put aluminium paper on the surfaces you dont want the cat to go (they dont like steping on it
*...
A friends cat got dipressed some years ago, when the dog of the house died...she was looking for him in every corner and lost around 1 kilo of weight in the next 2 months...she recovered later when a new baby arrived in the house...(!!!) Maybe it was just a coinsidence since cats tend to be...
I would try to figure out how he opens the fridge...you could flavour the outer area with lemon, or put some chilli peper sauce, or something like this...in a while he would (hopefully) realise that the fridge is not such a funny object...Either this or he will start liking black peper..
Ok, I have to admit that my 2 six months old male kittens have a very good character...they have learned many things until now like not jumping on the courtains, not going on the table (at least when we are eating) and others...but still there are two little problems..
Among all, Luke has...
Recently my 4 months kittens discovered that climbing on the courtains is very funny...I tried to spray the courtaisn with a lemon flavoured spray but anyway they still try to climb...What can I do?? I dont want to use water on them because the point is to avoid them climbing anyway...
