Vodka is 5-6 months old, and we were sitting on the couch with her and all of the sudden, she spit her tooth out! She didnt act in pain or anything, but I am worried! Why would her tooth fall out? Help! Any thoughts??
Vodka was spayed yesterday. Of course, she fasted from 10pm the previous night. I fed her 2 hours after we got home and she was fine, although she ate quite a bit. I assumed it was because she was so hungry. Well, today, she ate a whole 3 oz can of food (she normally only eats 2/3 a day)...
I had a harness on Vodka, just in case, but I didnt even need to put the leash on her. She was such a good kitten. I don't know if I would give her any food or water...she might throw up. How long is your trip? Mine was about 6-7 hours total and she was fine without any food or drink.
I use clumping (Scoop Away), and I scoop every day/every other day, I replace the litter pan liner once a week, and dump the litter probably once a month. Of course, as I scoop and clean, I am adding new litter to the old, but I do the whole thing fresh probably once a month, and Ive never had...
I use the cat wipes every now and then on Vodka, and I love them! She doesn't seem to mind TOO much, and afterwards, she is so soft and smells SOO good! I only wipe her down about 1-2 times a month, though, because she does a pretty good job of cleaning herself.
Vik, Have you tried different brands/types of wet food? Thats what I just did, and found out:
Vodka DOES NOT like chunk style foods, (I tried Eukanuba and Nutro chunk style, thinking she wasnt eating because she didnt like pate. I also tried mixing it with her dry kibble...all she did was...
Im glad Im not the only one! I feed Vodka the occasional piece of meat off my plate, too. I figure cat food has got to get a little boring after awhile!!
Vodka does the same thing. I feed her a can of Authority kitten food a day (in 2 meals), and free feed her dry Felidae throughout the day. Plus, she gets a few (up to 4) treats throughout the day, as well. She is definitely not starving, but anytime I have food in my hand, she is up on me...
No, she didnt go in the carrier. She was in the carrier a total of probably about 6-7 hours. She didn't freak when I took her out of the carrier...in fact, she was a little hesitant to come out and I had to pull her out, but she just cuddled with me until I put her back in. And once we got to...
I was wonder the same thing about Vodka's schedule being upset with us moving and all, but the thing is, she seems to be adjusting fine in every other way. She hasn't had problems sleeping, in fact, she sleeps right next to me all night. Ive been having to wake HER up! And she hasnt had any...
I have been feeding Vodka 1/3 can Nutro wet in the morning, and another 1/3 can at night (along with free feeding her dry). She didn't seem to LOVE the pate style, but she was eating it. Well, I moved to Utah a few days ago and had the Nutro for her here, but now she is hardly touching it. I...
Well, I just finished my first flying experience with Vodka. Yes, you do take your cat out of the carrier at the security check. I didn't have any problem with anyone bringing Vodka on board. On the second leg of the flight, a lady had a small dog a few rows ahead of me that yapped about 3...
