i have 3 females, on withe a litter of 8. they are all rescued. i groom them weekly, but if you keep them on good hairball treat they do a good job grooming themselfes

there are great brushes with a rasor set into them. they are called coat thinners. they work great. i use them all the time at the shelter.

were not sure. i took him in for a necropsy and the vet found nothing. they are pure bred so i am assuming it wa inbreeding... they came from a breeder.

I agree with wookie.... pictures work great on files, adoption apps, and adoption sites. i keep a back up copy of pictures of everyone online.... one side view, one front, and one of any distinguishing markings

I diassagree here, i had the same problem. we have switched to the bands vets use. they breakk if the cat has them caught in the mouth. the problem i had was tat the cats take them off each other

Hisname was buolavard. he was a litter of 6 who were dumped with me. he is #4 to die. do you think i should adopt out #5? his litter died like 2 months ago.

I called the shelter to get a status update on a kitten who i had found a home for. his foster mom had just found him dead in his bed.

although she may look like she has a home there are thousands of unwanted kittens. put up sighns and if no one claims her shes probably the victom of an "accident". Remeber to spay or neuter

there are alot of different litters that you can get.. but in most there is an ingrediant that makes them want to go to the batheroom in it. most "kitten safe" litter does not have this ingrediant... look for some with this that is kitten safe.
