How to keep male kitten indoors

This is fantastic! I would love to let the little guy out on the balcony without fear that he might fall or jump off the second story in pursuit of some bird or fly. I checked out the link but I don't see where/how to order. I'll do a search and see if anyone sells it locally.

How to keep male kitten indoors

That's a little difficult in a rental where there's nothing above to really anchor a net to...cement is quite difficult to penetrate. The saving grace right now is the fact the the balcony wall is about waist high but I'm only 5ft tall... I'm looking for some things I can do/teach preventively...

How to keep male kitten indoors

Hello everyone, So after the devastating loss of my beloved Miso, I decided to adopt another kitty right away. There are so many strays here in Crete and I found a woman online who is struggling to help as much as possible....she is caring for at least 15 babies right now, some with major...

Kitty not eating on her own

I talked to the vet about sedation yesterday and we're going to try doing the tests without it first. I told him I'd rather not tax her liver any more than necessary at this point...he agreed to try. She spent the night on the IV and when I spoke to him last he said she was looking stronger...

Kitty not eating on her own

If I hadn't taken her to the vet prior to traveling, I could totally understand that theory. But we did physicals, blood and urine work before leaving the states. Now, if the doctors missed something...that's another story. But I remember them telling me that you couldn't tell she was 14 years...

Kitty not eating on her own

Well, if she pulls through I'll definitely get her some but the new vet doesn't seem too optimistic either. He says she's severely dehydrated so once again she's hooked up to an IV. He wants to do more X-rays, bloodwork and an ultrasound but says he has to sedate her first and won't be able to...

Kitty not eating on her own

I have a friend who owns goats128526!!! I was thinking about trying the milk but wasn't sure if it's good for the cat. When my mom was here she used to boil it before drinking. I'm not sure if this is personal preference or if it has something to do with killing germs.

Kitty not eating on her own

Thanks for the support guys! I thought I posted a picture of the canned food she's eating now but I guess I didn't do it correctly. The only things that I've found with the right consistency and that I can easily get into her system are something called Simba Pate...salmon and shrimp as well as...

Kitty not eating on her own

I'm not sure how nutritionally complete the food is but this is all she seems to tolerate right now I searched for nutritional info online but couldn't find anything.

Kitty not eating on her own

@GrizzlySapien I speak Greek and that's how I communicated with the vet, but some of the technical stuff is hard for me to understand. Besides, they didn't explain anything, just said "the numbers aren't good". From what I can make out, these are the test results: Ουρια - 24 Κρεατινινη - 2,2...

Kitty not eating on her own

Thank you! I'll ask the new vet on Monday about the specific drugs mentioned and see what happens. We've tried the syringe but she's not a fan of it. It's much easier for me to use my finger and just put the food in her mouth. It's taken a few days but she's now eating about one small can of...

Kitty not eating on her own

They did several blood tests and the prelims came back normal. They said they did some biochemical tests which showed liver problems (I didn't really understand too much because it's in Greek) and X-ray showed an enlarged liver. I knew It was probably HL before the vet visit. I just don't know...
