Well Kharma is already spayed (was after 1st litter) and Sutra is booked in for a couple of days time. we have been keeping them totally seperate from each other lately and Kharma has stopped losing fur and has calmed down a bit. I have also contacted an holistic vet about getting some calming...

Please HELP!... Might have to give away cat soon :-(

Well she started getting grumpier when she realised that Sutra was staying unlike her other kittens that went away.We had big issues with who slept on the bed or in the bedroom. I just wonder if maybe she would have a better life if she was on her own and not part of a 2 cat household?

Please HELP!... Might have to give away cat soon :-(

Believe me - I don't want to give her away, she is my first cat and I love her dearly. I will prob take her to the vet as I want her to get better - it's just driving my hubby crazy - making things pretty stressful around the house cos I'm looking after 5 wk old kittens at the same time!@!

Please HELP!... Might have to give away cat soon :-(

I agree with a previous thread - that my cat has mental problems! Kharma is 2 and we also have her daughter Sutra who is 1. Now Kharma hasnt always been the happiest of cats (prob because of teasing by my brother in law when she was little) but now she has just lost the plot. Sutra has recently...

Hi there! I have some more photos for you. This first one is the little girl... And this is one of the boys... Sutra has been able to get up a bit more today and leave them whilst they are sleeping to stretch and walk around - I think she was getting a bit lonely by herself - she wanted more...

5 week old kitten - Please offer your help :)

Hi there! The cotton ball idea is great and does generally work, also rubbing their belly. Can u tell when it looks like it wants to go to the toilet - like is it sniffing around and scratching anywhere? I find when my kittens do this they are likely to need to go and if you put them in their...

    Please help - bottle feeding

Hey there Aussie mum! I too am from Adelaide and my cat had kittens yesterday! Are you giving them something to push against whilst they are sucking? Like if you hold the bottle between your thumb and pointer finger, then it gives the rest of your palm for their feet to push against and your...

the birth was successful.......how long does the mother stay without food???

Well done on your litter! I would agree with both the replies. If a kitten starts crying Sutra will come and see whats going on - but she doesnt think that it was me that did anything wrong. I just only touch them when needed to. And always remember to give your queen lots of attention first...

2 kittens! - but still more inside

Yeah - we used to do that when we bred West Highland White terriers - you can imagine all the puppies were white and looked exactly the same! We colour coded them with marker on the back of their heads! All the babies are well and feeding. Mum has only got up once to walk around and eat and go...
