Thank you so much....she is a very special little girl which I adopted on my birthday.  My birthday has been a sad day for many years as my dad passed away on my 25th birthday.....this was my special gift to me to give a different remembrance to that day!

Hi...I did not call the vet yet but watching my little girl very close, she has not had anymore episodes of the open mouth breathing since the other day.  If anymore occur I will definitely have to call to take her in....just hate jumping the gun and having another several hundred dollar expense...

Thank you for the article, I did read it at the time the blood tests results were in....good information,  I suppose the kitty could have allergies.  I guess that I will have to just continue to keep a close eye on her and if I notice any other symptoms I just take her back to the vet.  

I personally would talk it over with your vet to see what the best option would be, maybe get a second opinion to ease your mind as to the best possible solution for your kitty.  Please keep us updated.

The only way that I can get my cats to take medication in pill form (crushed or powder from capsule) is to mix it with a little bit of baby food w/water and syringe it.  I have tried every other way and was unsuccessful.  Wish you lots of luck and success in whatever method works for you!  :)
